Hey readers, its been a quite few weeks for Quild. Its because I'm rebranding from Quild to Generational to reflect a shift in the publication’s direction. It has been an awesome journey to have written ~250 posts about early-stage startups & venture in a year. As I’ve shifted my focus to artificial intelligence and seeing how the market is developing, I decided to break the mold.
Incumbents are also defining the frontiers of AI, not just startups. Microsoft, Google, Facebook are AI powerhouses. In some product categories, startups are the ones that have to catchup.
GPT-4 and foundation models in general are nearing AGI level and has immediate implications for entire economy, not just the venture world.
Knowing who are the upcoming companies still matters. Generational will continue to Quild tradition of profiling breakout companies that you should join and invest in.
With that, here’s what Generational will be about. First essay dropping in a few minutes.
What is Generational
The era of foundation models is here, transforming our lives and work as profoundly as smartphones and personal computers once did. Generational delves into the most significant artificial intelligence trends and companies to inform investors, founders, and operators where they should place their bets.

Why is the logo GPT
It stands for Generational Publication on Tech. Generational’s thesis is that Generative Pretrained Transformers are General Purpose Technologies. In short, GPT was started because GPTs are GPTs.
